If I haven’t made it clear by now, I am in love with the variety of retail stores available in Madrid. They will be one of the things I miss most when I return to America (t-minus 13 days!) Recently, my roommate Ali discovered that most of our favorites including Lefties, Pull and Bear, Stradivarius, and Bershka, are all owned by the same Spanish corporation Inditex (short for Industria de Diseño Textil) –who’s flagship chain happens to be Zara. Well, that explains a lot.
The firm is “the world’s largest clothes retailer,” according to BBC. It has been opening stores and reaping profits in new markets, despite the world’s economic struggles. Inditex has clearly struck gold, both in my view and the world’s, by offering such a broad selection of affordable retail.
Thus, I present to you a collection of lookbook images and items I have bought, all produced by this group of stores. Enjoy!
Promise to take some real style shots of the shopping I’ve done here soon; I’ve just been so busy–got back from Paris last night and jet off to Italy tomorrow morning, #studyabroadproblems you know….

I am so jealous of all of your shopping in Madrid!
